Careers Build the quiet tool studios run on.

We make software for interior designers: people who judge craft for a living. That raises the bar on everything we ship, which is the interesting part of the job.

No roles are advertised today. When we hire, it will be one role at a time, on this page. Speculative notes are read and answered.

How we work

Four things that will not change as we grow.

  1. A small team, real ownership.

Everyone shapes the product. Your work ships to studios running live projects, not into a backlog groomed once a quarter.

  2. Craft over churn.

Fewer features, finished properly: the empty state, the error message and the PDF get the same care as the feature behind them.

  3. UK-built, remote-friendly.

GBP, VAT and UK lead times are the brief, wherever the team happens to sit.

  4. Close to the customer.

We build alongside founding studios on real projects. You hear the feedback first-hand, not relayed through a deck.

The bar

You will be building for people who can spot a badly mitred corner from across the room.

Honestly

Small and early, on purpose.

Worth knowing before you write, so neither of us wastes an afternoon.

  1. No team to hide insideThere is no established playbook to follow; you help write it.
  2. Beyond the job titleYou will work outside your role, including talking to the studios who use it.
  3. No formal loop yetNo levelling framework, and no applicant tracking system to disappear into.

What to send

One line on each.

The work
What you would want to work on here, specifically.
The proof
One thing you have built or run that you are still proud of.
The evidence
Anything you have made: a repo, a site, a drawing set, a spreadsheet that saved someone a week.

Three lines is enough. No cover letter.

It goes to the people building Techstyles, and one of them writes back.
