Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, studio details, project data, client records, and any files or communications you upload. We also collect usage data (page views, feature interactions, session duration) to improve our service.

Techstyles integrates with Google Gmail and Google Calendar when you choose to connect your Google account. We request the following permissions:

- Gmail (read-only): to fetch and display your email messages inside Techstyles, shown in a paginated inbox view, so you can read and manage your communications in one place. This access covers your Gmail mailbox, not a limited subset of it. - Gmail (send): to let you send replies to emails from within Techstyles. - Google Calendar (events): to display your upcoming meetings and to let you create calendar events directly from Techstyles.

AI Summary feature: Techstyles offers an optional feature that generates a short summary of an individual email. When you choose to summarise a specific email, the subject and body of that message are sent to our AI service provider, OpenAI, through its API for the sole purpose of producing that summary and returning it to you. This happens only when you explicitly request a summary, on a per-email basis. OpenAI processes this data only to provide the summarisation service on our behalf; data submitted through OpenAI's API is not used to train its models.

We do not use your Google data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it — or allow any third party to use it — to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Other than the AI service provider described above (used only at your request) and the infrastructure providers described in Section 7, we do not share your Gmail or Calendar data with any third party.

Techstyles' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your Techstyles account settings. You can also revoke access directly via Google Account Permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon disconnection or account deletion, all stored Google OAuth tokens are immediately deleted from our systems.

We use your account and usage information to provide and improve Techstyles, including delivering core features (project management, client CRM, procurement, time tracking), sending you product updates and security alerts, and diagnosing technical issues. Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the specific features described in Section 2 and is not used to improve unrelated parts of our service. We never sell your data to third parties.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Google OAuth tokens are deleted immediately upon account disconnection or deletion.

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to other users or third parties.

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@techstyles.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

Techstyles uses a limited set of third-party providers: cloud hosting, database, and email delivery infrastructure, and OpenAI for the optional AI Summary feature described in Section 2. These providers process data only on our behalf, under data processing agreements, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not share your data with any other third parties, and we do not sell your data.

We may update this policy as our product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
