Studio Designer is long-established, US-oriented software with a strong accounting heritage, known for taking the financial side of a design practice seriously. Studios that have built their process around its ledger are rarely looking for a reason to leave it.
If your bookkeeper works in it every day and your accountant is in the US, that is a real argument for staying. The UK case is different: the books live in Xero, and the design tool should feed them, not replace them.
