Delete a file or link
Permanently remove a file or link from a project, with all of its versions and markup.
Deleting can't be undone. There is no bin.
Before deleting a folder, move or delete what's inside it. Anything left inside moves to the top level of Files.
Steps
- On the Files tab, open the item's … menu and choose Delete.
- Confirm in the dialog.
What happens next
- For a file, every version and all of its PDF markup are deleted too.
- The client and contractors lose access if it was shared with them.
Items are deleted one at a time; the selection bar has no delete.
