Create a message topic

Create a topic when one subject needs its own conversation.

Before you start

• You need to be a studio admin or manager.

Steps

1. Open the project and click the Messages tab.
2. Next to Topics, click New topic.
3. Type a name, for example "Snagging".
4. Under Add members, tick the people to include, or click Select all.
5. Click Create topic.

What happens next

• The topic appears under Topics.

Change a topic later

1. Open the topic and click Channel settings.
2. Add or remove members, or rename the topic and click Save. You need to manage the topic to do this. The person who created it does.

Good to know

• Topic names can be up to 60 characters.
• Archive for me hides a topic from your own list. History is kept, and you can restore it from the Archived section.
• If you are in a topic you do not manage, Channel settings offers Leave channel.
