Edit a project's details
Change a project's name, code, type, status, colour, summary and property details.
The details you entered when creating a project can all be changed later. The project code appears in file names and purchase orders, so change it with care.
Before you start
- You need permission to edit projects. Without it, you can see the details but not change them.
Steps
- Open the project and click Settings.
- Choose Overview.
- Under Project overview, change any of Project title, Project code, Project type, Status, Project color and Summary.
- Under Property, change the property type, size, Address, City, Postcode, Country, bedrooms, bathrooms or Access & site notes.
- Click Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the page.
What happens next
- The change is recorded in Settings › Activity log, with who made it and the old and new values.
- Project color changes the colour of this project's tasks on the studio calendar.
Good to know
- Project title and Project color are required.
- A project marked Complete here shows as Completed on the Projects page. Won projects only show under All.
- When you type an address, suggestions come from OpenStreetMap, so the text you type is sent to that service. You can ignore the suggestions and keep your own text.
- Activity log shows the last 100 changes to this project's settings.
