Attach a file or dictate a question
Give Atelier in Techstyles a document or image to read, or speak your question instead of typing it.
Before you start
- Atelier in Techstyles is for studio admins only.
- To dictate, allow your browser to use the microphone.
Attach a file
- Click the paperclip (Attach a file) in the message box.
- Choose a file: PDF, Word (DOCX), TXT, CSV, JSON, Markdown, or an image (PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF).
- Check it appears as a chip above your message. To remove it, click its cross.
- Type your question, for example "Summarise the supplier's terms in this quote", and send.
Dictate a question
- Click the microphone (Dictate a question — click, or hold Alt), or hold the Alt key while you speak.
- Click again, or let go of Alt, to stop.
- Check the words in the message box, edit them if you need to, and send.
What happens next
- Techstyles AI reads the file and answers. Only the text it read is kept with the chat. The file itself isn't stored.
- Dictated audio is turned into text and then discarded. Nothing is sent until you press send.
Good to know
- A scanned PDF with no text is accepted, but you'll be told it looks scanned.
- Other file types are marked "Not readable".
- Attachments and dictation count towards your 30 messages an hour. Dictation and image attachments use AI credits, as does the answer.
