Record or upload a meeting note

Record a site visit in your browser, or upload audio or a transcript, and get an AI summary with suggested tasks.

Updated

Meeting notes turn a recording into a summary, key points and suggested tasks for the project. Use them for site visits, client meetings and calls.

Before you start

  • You need to be on the project team, or be an admin or manager.
  • To record, allow your browser to use the microphone.

Record in the browser

  1. Open the project and select Meeting notes.
  2. Click New note and choose Record.
  3. Give the note a title, for example "Belgravia site visit".
  4. Tap the microphone to start. Tap it again to stop.
  5. When it says "Recorded — save to process", click Save & process.

Upload audio or a transcript

  1. Click New note and choose Upload.
  2. Drop a file onto "Drop audio or transcript, or browse". Any audio file works, or a .txt, .vtt or .srt transcript.
  3. Click Save & process.

What happens next

  • The note shows "AI is processing this recording…".
  • Audio is transcribed, then summarised. Transcripts skip straight to the summary.
  • When it's ready, the note updates on its own. Review it and add its tasks.

Good to know

  • Long audio files may be too large to transcribe. If so, you'll be told the file's size and the limit. Try a shorter recording or a lower quality export.
  • Transcription and summaries use AI credits. If your studio has run out, the transcript is still made, but the note shows "No summary available." and suggests no tasks. See If your studio runs out of AI credits.
  • Tell people when you are recording them.
