See the portal as your client or contractor sees it
Open the client or contractor portal in a new tab, signed in as that person, to check what they see.
Quick login opens the portal exactly as your client or contractor sees it. It is the easiest way to check what you have shared before you tell them to look.
Before you start
- The person has been invited to this project.
Steps
- For a client: open Settings, then People, then Clients, and click Quick login on their card.
- For a contractor: open the project's Contractors tab, click More (the three dots) on their card and choose Quick Login.
What happens next
- The portal opens in a new tab, signed in as that person.
Good to know
- The link lasts one hour.
- Anything you do in that tab is done as them. Approving a piece there records it as your client's approval. Look, but do not act on their behalf.
- Opening a client's portal this way can mark them as Joined even if they have never signed in themselves.
- If it fails for a client, check they have been invited to this project.
