Open the latest drawing and its versions

Find a drawing the studio has issued to you, check you have the latest version, and see what changed.

Drawings shows every drawing package the studio has issued to you. When you open a drawing, you always get its newest version, with the history underneath.

Steps

  1. Open Drawings.
  2. Find the package, or type in Search drawings….
  3. Tap View to open the package and see its drawings.
  4. Tap a drawing.
  5. Tap Click to preview to open it full screen.
  6. Scroll to Version history to see earlier versions and the note on each one. The newest is marked Latest.

Good to know

  • Each drawing is marked Current, or Revision requested if a change has been asked for and the studio has not yet issued a new version.
  • The version notes, such as "Rev 3: shelf depth to 320 mm", tell you what changed.
  • Version history lists earlier versions for reference. Only the latest version can be opened and downloaded here. If you need an old one, ask the studio.
  • Check with the studio before building from a drawing if you are unsure it is final. A drawing appearing here does not on its own mean it has been signed off.
  • The studio may not send a notification when it first issues a package to you. If they tell you new drawings are ready, check Drawings.
