Mark review comments as done

Tick off each comment on a drawing once the change is made, so the package can be shared.

Updated

Open review comments stop a package being shared. Tick each one off when the change it asks for has been made.

Before you start

  • You need to be the project lead, the design lead or a studio admin.

Steps

  1. On the Drawings tab, click the package's row. Drawings with open comments show a count, such as 2 open.
  2. Click the drawing, then the Comments tab. Or click the eye (View drawing) to see the comments beside the drawing.
  3. Read the comment. Click its text to go to it on the drawing.
  4. Click the circle next to the comment (Mark done).

What happens next

  • The comment moves out of Open and into Done, with the name of the person who marked it.
  • The person who made the comment gets an in-app notification, unless it was you.
  • The change is recorded on the package's Activity tab.
  • When no comments are open on any drawing in the package, they stop blocking sharing. The issue checklist and approval still apply.

Good to know

  • Use the list at the top of the comments to switch between Open, Done and All.
  • To reopen a comment, choose Done and click its tick (Reopen).
  • Comments on older versions count too. If you upload a new version, tick off the comments it deals with.
  • Everyone else sees the comments and their state, but can't tick them.
