Submit a drawing package for approval

A package can leave Draft as soon as it has at least one drawing. The issue checklist and review comments are checked later, before the package is shared.

Before you start

• You need to be the project lead, the design lead or a studio admin.

Steps

1. On the Drawings tab, click Open on the package.
2. If the bottom of the package says Add at least one drawing file, click the Files tab, then Add drawing files.
3. Click Submit package for approval.

What happens next

• The package moves to Lead review.
• The project lead gets an in-app notification with a link to the package, unless they submitted it themselves.

Good to know

• Procurement items, lead times and risks do not hold a package up.
• You can tick the issue checklist now or later. It must be complete before the package is shared. See Complete the issue checklist.
• The Activity tab records each step and who took it.
