Use the Procurement risks panel
See which items need attention first, with a suggested next step for each, at the top of every schedule.
The Procurement risks panel is part of Techstyles AI. It reads the schedule's risk flags and dates and suggests what to do next for each item that needs attention. It only suggests. It never changes an item.
Before you start
- The panel appears only when something needs attention. On a project where every item is fine, you won't see it.
Steps
- Open the project and select Procurement. The panel sits above the toolbar.
- Read the header, for example Procurement risks · 4 need attention · 1 blocked.
- Read each line: the product, a short state, and the next step with the order-by date and days left.
- Click Open on a line to jump to that item and open its details.
Narrow the schedule from the panel
- Click N need attention to show only those items on the schedule. An AI risks chip appears in the toolbar. Click its ×, or Clear all in Filters, to see everything again.
- Click N blocked to list only the blocked lines in the panel.
- Click Show all N to see every line, and Show less to fold it back.
- Click Hide to collapse the panel. Techstyles remembers this in your browser.
What the states mean
| State | Why it appears |
|---|---|
| Blocked | Out of stock, rejected by the client, or flagged as blocked |
| Order soon | The order-by date is inside your studio's nudge window |
| Order overdue | The order-by date has passed and it isn't ordered |
| Not ordered | The client approved it a while ago and it isn't ordered |
| No ETA | It is ordered but has no ETA |
| No lead time | It is flagged bespoke and has no ETA |
| Arriving late | The ETA is after the required-by date |
| Due soon | The required-by date is 14 days away or less |
| Overdue | The required-by date has passed |
| Date missing | There is no required-by date |
| Check date | The required-by date is after the installation date, or outside the project's dates |
Hover over a state to see the exact reason. For how each one is worked out, see How install-date risk works.
Good to know
- The panel lists up to 10 items. On a busy project, use Watchlist in the toolbar to see every flagged item.
- Snoozed items and items that are only being watched aren't listed.
- The panel uses the same flags as the chips on each row, so the two always agree.
