Accept an invitation to a studio

A studio admin invites you by email. The link in that email sets up your access. You do not need to register separately.

Before you start

• Find the email "You've been invited to join" followed by the studio's name. The link lasts 14 days.
• Start from the link in the email, not the sign-in page. Until you accept, your account has no studio to open.

If you are new to Techstyles

1. Click the link in the invitation email. You see You've been invited.
2. Enter your Full name, Password and Confirm password.
3. Click Accept invitation.

If you already use Techstyles

1. Click the link. You see Join followed by the studio's name, with Studio, Your role and Joining as.
2. If you are not signed in, or signed in with a different email, click Sign in to join. Sign in with the invited email address. You come back to this page.
3. Click Join studio.

What happens next

• New account: you are signed in and taken to Home. You do not need to confirm your email; the invitation already did that.
• Existing account: you join the studio and switch into it. Nothing else about your account changes, and you keep your other studios. See Switch between studios.
• You have the role the admin chose: Admin, Manager or Member.
• We email you "Welcome to" followed by the studio's name. The studio's admins, and the person who invited you, get an email saying you have joined.

Good to know

• Invitation link expired appears if the link is older than 14 days, has been used, or was withdrawn. Ask the studio admin to invite you again.
• "This studio has no seats left" means the studio is full. Ask the admin to free or add a seat, then use the same link again.
• To join with an existing account, you must be signed in as the exact address the invitation was sent to.
