Change your password

Change your password whenever you like. If you have forgotten it, reset it from the sign-in page instead.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Security.
2. Under Password, enter your Current password.
3. Enter a New password of at least 8 characters, then type it again in Confirm new password.
4. Click Update password.

What happens next

• Use the new password next time you sign in.
• Your old password stops working straight away.
• You stay signed in on this and other devices.

Good to know

• If you think someone else knows your old password, also sign out of other devices.
• "Invalid current password." means the current password is wrong.
• Avoid common passwords, all-number passwords and anything close to your name or email. If the new password is refused, try a longer one.
