Check and free up storage

See how much of your studio's storage is used, what is using it, and how to make room.

Who can do this: admins and managersUpdated

Every studio has a storage allowance for files. When it is full, new uploads are refused, so keep an eye on it.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Storage.
  2. Under Usage, compare the space used with the total. Hover over a part of the bar to see its size.
  3. Use Breakdown by type, Documents by project and Drawings by project to see what is taking the space.

Free up space

  1. Find the largest project under Documents by project or Drawings by project.
  2. In that project, delete files or old drawing versions you no longer need. Deleted files can't be recovered.
  3. Come back to Storage after about ten minutes to see the new total.

What counts

  • Uploaded document files. Folders and links do not count.
  • Product images in your library.
  • Every version of every drawing. Each revision is stored separately.
  • Studio logos do not count.

Good to know

  • At 80%, the page says "Running low on storage." At 95%, it says "Storage almost full."
  • An upload is refused if it would take you over the limit, even if the bar shows a little space left.
  • To raise your allowance, contact support@techstyles.ai. There is no storage upgrade in Billing.
  • Figures can take up to ten minutes to reflect a deletion.
