Read the Team report

See hours by person, utilisation against an 80% target, and a weekly timesheet, then drill into one person's tasks.

Who can do this: admins and managersUpdated

The Team report shows how the team's time was spent in a period. It has three tabs.

Hours

  1. Open Reports > Team and choose a period. Hours is selected.
  2. Read Team members, Total time logged and, for admins and managers, Total cost.
  3. Use the chart to compare people by hours or cost, and change the sort.
  4. Click a person in the table to see their projects and tasks. Use Search tasks... and Export there.

Utilisation

  1. Click Utilisation.
  2. Read Team Average against the 80% target, High Performers (80% or more), Under-utilised (under 60%) and Total Hours.
  3. Under Team utilisation, each bar shows the person's hours, with the billable part darker and a line at 80%.

Timesheet

  1. Click Timesheet.
  2. Read hours per person for each week that has time logged, with Billable, Total and, for admins and managers, Cost.

Good to know

  • Utilisation here assumes a 40-hour week for everyone. It will not match Team > Workload, which uses each person's own hours.
  • A dash in the timesheet means no time logged that week. Weeks with no time at all are left out.
  • Only the Hours tab and the person pages can be exported.
  • Time comes from the timer. There is no separate timesheet to fill in or approve.
  • On a person's page, a warning icon beside a task means some of that time was edited by hand. Hover over it to see Manual edit: how many sessions, how much the time changed, how many were switched between billable and non-billable, who edited them and when. See also Read the Projects report.
