Let Atelier in Techstyles plan work for you to approve
Use Agent mode to have Atelier in Techstyles propose tasks, procurement updates and more, then review the plan and click Approve & run.
In Agent mode, Atelier in Techstyles works out what needs doing and lays it out as a plan. Nothing happens until you approve it.
Before you start
- Only studio admins can use it.
- It can only propose what you yourself are allowed to do.
Steps
- In the chat, switch the toggle under the message box to Agent.
- Say what you want done, for example "Create tasks for Alice to order the dining chairs and confirm the lighting on Belgravia Townhouse, due Friday".
- Read the plan card under the answer. Each step shows what will be created or changed.
- Click Approve & run to carry out the steps in order, or Cancel to drop them.
- If any step is marked Check carefully, it sends an email or spends money. Read it, then click Confirm on that step, or Dismiss.
What happens next
- Each step is ticked off as it runs, and shows Done with your name.
- Changes are made exactly as if you had made them yourself, with the same checks, and appear straight away in the app.
- A purchase order or invoice raised this way follows your studio's Xero settings.
- A portal invitation sends the client the standard invitation email.
If a plan stops part-way
The card says "Stopped at step 3 of 4. The steps before it were carried out and have not been undone." Fix the cause, then click Run the rest, or Cancel the remaining steps.
Good to know
- A single proposed change shows Confirm and Dismiss instead of a plan.
- Proposals wait 24 hours. After that they show Expired — ask again to propose it afresh.
- Only the person who asked can approve.
- Steps run one by one. If a later step fails, earlier ones stay done.
- You can approve up to 30 changes an hour.
- Changes you approve are real. Deleting the chat doesn't undo them. Reverse them in the app, for example void an invoice in Finance.
