Tell your designer you will order a piece yourself
Keep a piece in your scheme but buy it yourself, so the studio does not order or invoice it.
Sometimes you would rather buy a piece yourself, perhaps from a shop you already use. Choosing I'll order keeps it in your scheme while making clear the studio is not buying it.
Steps
- Open Procurement and find the piece.
- Tap I'll order.
What happens next
- The piece is marked Ordering myself.
- The studio will not order it for you or put it on an invoice.
- Its cost moves to the Ordering myself total at the top of the page and still counts towards Total spend.
Good to know
- Your designer is not sent an alert when you choose this. Send them a quick message so they know, especially if they were about to order it. See Message your designer.
- You can change your mind by tapping another button, until the studio orders it.
