Approve a piece your designer has chosen
Say yes to a piece of furniture, lighting or finish so your designer can go ahead and order it.
Each piece your designer chooses for you waits in Procurement until you decide. Approving it tells them you are happy for it to be ordered.
Before you start
- Your studio has shared your selections with you. If Procurement says it is turned off, ask them to switch it on.
Steps
- Open Procurement.
- Tap Pending to see only the pieces still waiting for you.
- Tap a piece's picture if you would like to see its measurements and details first.
- Tap Approve.
What happens next
- The piece is marked Approved.
- Your designer is told straight away in Techstyles, and by email if they have not already seen it.
- Your studio can now order it.
Good to know
- Changed your mind? Tap a different button. You can change your answer until the studio orders the piece. After that the buttons are greyed out and say "Ordered — approval locked". Message your designer if something needs to change.
- On a computer, in list view, the four buttons are icons: a tick for Approve, a clock for Review, a bag for I'll order and a cross for Reject. Hover over one to see its name.
- New pieces start as In review, which means waiting for you. They are counted under Pending review at the top of the page.
