Add seats

Buy more seats from Manage seats, or add one while inviting someone. You pay today for the time left in the current billing period.

Each person in your studio, and each invitation waiting to be accepted, takes a seat. When every seat is in use, add more before you invite anyone else.

Before you start

  • You need access to studio settings (admins, by default) and a live subscription with a card on file.
  • A studio can have up to 20 seats. For more, contact support@techstyles.ai.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Billing and find Seats.
  2. Click Manage seats.
  3. In Add or change seats, click + to raise Adjusted seats. Cost change shows how much your regular bill goes up.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In Confirm changes, check the new total, Total due today and the card under Payment method. To use a different card, click the pencil.
  6. Tick the box to confirm the purchase.
  7. Click Confirm & purchase.

From the invite dialog

If every seat is taken when you invite someone, the dialog says "All 5 seats are in use." (with your number). Click Add a seat, check the price, then click Confirm and pay. This adds one seat. To add several, click Manage seats and billing.

What happens next

  • Your card on file is charged straight away for the time left until your plan renews.
  • The new seats are ready as soon as the payment goes through.
  • From your next renewal, the seats are billed with the rest of your plan.
  • The studio owner gets an email with the invoice attached as a PDF.

Good to know

  • What a seat costs depends on its number. See How pricing and seats work.
  • Prices include VAT. Confirm changes shows the VAT in the amount due today.
  • If the card is declined, nothing is charged and no seats are added.
  • If your bank needs to confirm a payment you started from the invite dialog, click Complete the payment and follow the steps.
  • You can't add seats while a payment is overdue. You'll see "Settle the outstanding balance before adding seats."
  • Adding seats cancels any reduction you had scheduled. See Remove seats.
  • When someone leaves, their seat stays paid for and you can give it to someone else. It doesn't come off your bill unless you remove it.
