Remove seats

Removing someone from your studio frees their seat, but you keep paying for it until you remove the seat as well. A reduction always waits for your renewal date.

Before you start

• Nothing is refunded for the seats you remove.
• You need access to studio settings (admins, by default) and a live subscription.
• You can't go below the number of seats in use. Invitations count. Remove the person or withdraw the invitation first.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Billing and find Seats.
2. Click Manage seats.
3. In Add or change seats, click − to lower Adjusted seats.
4. Click Next.
5. In Confirm changes, check the new total and the date it starts. Total due today is £0.
6. Click Remove 2 seats at renewal (the number matches your change).

What happens next

• Seats says "Going down to 5 seats" (with your number) and the date.
• You can keep using all your paid seats until that date.
• Your renewal invoice bills the lower number.

Change your mind

Click Keep current seats in Seats any time before the date.

Good to know

• If more people have joined by the renewal date, the count won't drop below the number in use.
• You can schedule a reduction while a payment is overdue. Adding seats has to wait until the balance is settled.
