Manage your studio's billing
Check your plan and renewal date, see your seats, update your card, pay an outstanding invoice and download past invoices.
The Billing page shows what your studio is subscribed to, how many seats you use and every invoice from Stripe.
Before you start
- You need access to studio settings (admins, by default). Others see "You do not have permission to view billing for this studio."
Check your plan
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Under Plan, read Status, Billing period (Monthly or Annual) and Renews.
Check your seats
Under Seats, you see how many are in use out of your total, for example "4 of 5 seats used", and how many you are paying for. To change the number, click Manage seats. See Add seats and Remove seats.
Update your card
- Click Manage payment details.
- Update your card on Stripe's secure page.
- Use the link on Stripe's page to come back to Billing.
Pay an outstanding invoice
- If there is a problem with your last payment, click Pay now in the box at the top. Or click Pay next to an invoice marked Due.
- Pay on Stripe's page, which opens in a new tab.
Download an invoice
Under Invoices, click the document icon on the invoice's row. The last 12 invoices are listed; older ones are in Stripe, behind Manage payment details.
What happens next
- When a new card is saved, Stripe retries anything outstanding on it.
- As soon as a payment goes through, any warning clears and full access returns. You do not need to contact us.
- Each time a payment goes through, the studio owner gets an email with the invoice attached as a PDF. That covers subscribing, adding seats, switching to annual and each renewal.
Good to know
- Plan statuses you may see: Active, Trial, Past due, Unpaid, Cancelled, Incomplete and Paused.
- Invoice statuses you may see: Paid, Due, Draft, Void and Written off.
- Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach Techstyles.
- To change between monthly and annual, use Change billing period. See Change your billing period.
- To see what each seat costs, see How pricing and seats work.
