Update your studio details

Change the studio name, support email, phone, registered address, VAT number and timezone that appear on documents.

Your studio details go on invoices, purchase orders, the client portal and emails sent from Techstyles. Keep them current.

Before you start

  • You need to be a studio admin.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings > General.
  2. Under Studio details, fill in Studio name, Support email and Phone. Name and support email are required.
  3. Under Registered address, fill in Address line 1, Address line 2 (optional), Town / City, County, Postcode, Country and VAT number.
  4. Choose the studio's Timezone.
  5. Click Save changes at the bottom of Registered address. This one button saves both sections and the timezone.

What happens next

  • New and reopened invoices and purchase orders, the client portal and studio emails use the new details.

Good to know

  • If a required field is missing or the email is not valid, it turns red and nothing is saved until you fix it.
  • Timezone sets when the studio's day starts. The Slack Monday overview arrives at 08:00 in this timezone, unless a project has its own.
  • Currency, tax and VAT-inclusive pricing are set in Settings > Finance, not here.
  • Logos have their own save button. See Add your studio logo.
  • There is no history of changes. To undo, type the old details and save again.
