Review your time
See today's, this week's and this month's hours, look through your entries, and add notes.
The Time tracking page shows only your own time. Each timer you run becomes an entry, and each start and stop inside it is a session.
Steps
- In the sidebar, click Time Tracking.
- Read the totals for Today, This week and This month, and the Daily breakdown chart.
- Under Recent entries, choose All, Active or Paused. At the top of the page, choose All, This week or This month to change which entries are listed.
- Click an entry to see its Session history.
- Type in Note ("What are you working on?") to describe the work. It saves as you type.
- To pause a running timer, click Pause.
What happens next
- Pause stops the timer. To carry on, click the play button on the entry (Resume). This adds a new session to the same entry.
Good to know
- The duration on each entry is its total across all time, even when you filter to This week or This month.
- The totals and chart do not change with the date filter.
- Every session shows Billable or Non-billable. A session takes this from the task's billable setting when it starts, including when you resume. See Change whether a session is billable.
- For a Studio task entry, the note is the entry's name.
- To see colleagues' time, use Reports.
