Your project portal at a glance

What you can do in your design studio's client portal, and where to find each part on a phone or computer.

Updated

Your designer uses Techstyles to run your project. The client portal is your own view of it: the pieces they have chosen for you, your invoices, shared documents and drawings, and a direct line to the team.

Finding your way around

On a phone, the sections sit in a bar along the bottom of the screen. On a computer, they are in the menu on the left.

  • Dashboard: where your project stands, your budget, payments and anything waiting on you under Action items. See Read your project dashboard.
  • Procurement: the furniture, lighting and finishes your designer has chosen. This is where you approve pieces.
  • Finances: your invoices and what is due.
  • Documents: plans, specifications and other files your studio has shared.
  • Drawings: drawing packages your studio has shared with you.
  • Messages: conversations with your design team.

At the top of the screen there is a bell for Notifications and your picture, which opens Settings.

Good to know

  • Your studio decides which sections are switched on for your project. If a page says, for example, "Procurement is turned off", your studio has not opened that part yet. Ask them if you expected to see it.
  • You can use the portal in any up-to-date web browser. There is nothing to install.
  • If you work with your designer on more than one project, you can switch between them in Settings.
