The contractor portal at a glance
What you can do in a design studio's contractor portal, on site or in the workshop, and where each part lives.
The studio you are working with uses Techstyles to run the project. The contractor portal gives you the drawings, items and files they have shared with you, and a direct line to the team. It works in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install.
Finding your way around
On a phone, the sections sit in a bar along the bottom of the screen. On a computer they are in the menu on the left.
- Dashboard: the project at a glance, anything that Needs your attention, upcoming deliveries and recent activity.
- Procurement: the items the studio has shared with you, with dimensions and delivery dates.
- Messages: your conversation with the studio.
- Files: documents the studio has shared with you.
- Drawings: the drawings issued to you, with their versions.
The bell at the top shows your Notifications. Your picture opens your Profile, where you keep your insurance and certificates up to date and switch between projects.
Good to know
- You only see what the studio has shared with you on each project.
- Add the portal to your phone's home screen from your browser's menu so it is quick to open on site.
- If a section is empty, the studio has not shared anything there yet.
